Mini Cooper is 'The Car of the Century' (Autocar, 1995), owned by BMW Group with over 60 years of design heritage. The AI challenge: automotive proportions are physics-based and culturally recognized. Get the body lines wrong by millimeters, and viewers feel instinctive wrongness—the uncanny valley of cars. Assignment was to create AI-generated driving sequences that felt authentically Mini Cooper—correct wheel-base ratio, iconic silhouette, accurate proportions in motion. This required both artistic skill and technical precision in 3D space.

Showcase 1

Signature Silhouette

The iconic small-car profile—proportional wheels, rounded hood, compact stance. Every angle respects these proportions.

Showcase 2

Urban Motion Sequence

The Mini Cooper navigates city streets—accelerating, cornering, parking. Driving dynamics feel authentic to the real car's renowned agility.

Showcase 3

Lifestyle Integration

Beyond driving, the Mini Cooper integrates into urban lifestyle—meeting friends, exploring neighborhoods. The car becomes a character.

Extending the brand

Design Thinking

We engineered near-perfect proportions with strict accuracy constraints to eliminate any visual inconsistency.
Through 47 refinement iterations, we aligned stance, structure, and motion with real-world vehicle physics.
Combined with lifestyle storytelling, the car was positioned as a playful, independent character—true to the brand.

The Finished Product

The campaign achieved technical automotive precision, passing strict BMW Group quality reviews with ±0.5mm body-line accuracy. Distributed across digital, broadcast, and in-showroom contexts. ±0.5mm — Accuracy Tolerance

"This one surprised us. It passed our proportional accuracy checks, handled dynamics reviews, and actually captured the personality of what it feels like to drive a Mini. That's rare in AI animation."
