Building An: Intergenerational Conversation
Amira and Aryaan brought something rare to the podcast ecosystem
A real mother daughter conversation, shaped from raw, meandering footage into a tight, engaging narrative without losing authenticity.
We built rhythm by identifying genuine moments of vulnerability and humor editing around them to create tension and release. Exposition was tightened, while human reactions were given space, preserving emotional depth. Layered B-roll added context and a parallel story, enriching the viewing experience. The result: a 52-minute film that felt intimate and unscripted driven by authenticity, refined through precise editing.

Design Thinking
We shaped the film by removing, not adding building a cinematic feel while preserving raw intimacy. The edit followed emotional arcs, not topics letting reactions, pauses, and silence drive the story. Pacing was intentional tight on filler, spacious on moments that carried emotional weight. Every visual and sound layer served connection B-roll for context, audio for subtle emotional guidance.

The Finished Product

Editing stayed invisible, serving the story rather than amplifying it. 940K views 20% above their channel average. Key moments: a calm opening, a deeply vulnerable peak, and genuine shared laughter. It closed on quiet intimacy leaving viewers with a lasting emotional connection.

"Ashpreet understood that our strength wasn't in performing it was in being real together. The edit gave space to our genuine moments and removed the noise that got in the way of that."
